

Prayer Shawls
Prayer Shawls are large shawls knitted with prayer, by members around the Diocese.
They can be given to those who are bereaved, sick or elderly, including our Indoor Members. They are also given to hospital chaplains to leave in the Chapel.
The idea, from America, is that the shawl should be knitted in contemplation and prayer, within a group or individually. The prayers are knitted into the shawl with every stitch and then these are passed to someone in need of them:
