Celebrating 50 Years of Home and Family Life
With this special publication, Home & Family celebrates its 50th anniversary in style! Over the half century, a large amount of information and advice on bringing up children has been found on the pages of the MU's magazine. In this special commemorative publication you will find one main article per year, showing that family life and parenting have always been at the heart of the Mothers' Union.
The early articles show Mum at home with the children, and Dad coming home from work to a tidy house and hot meal. Later articles reflect a changed social agenda - and through the articles in between, you'll see the changes taking place before your eyes! The MU moves with the times, while maintaining its faith and standards whatever is happening in society.
And it's not only parents who will be interested in reading these articles! You'll find advice and help for godparents and teachers, grandparents, siblings and friends.
