Gillian has been a member of the MU Attleborough branch since 2002. Although she has been involved with Holy Trinity Church, Young Wives and the Mothers' Union since childhood, it was only on retirement that she took a much more active role. Now as a full timer she is very active in MU circles and has been accepted as a General Trustee for the Diocese from January 2010.

Gill has been married for 21 years to Neil who, although not a member,  is very supportive in all her commitments, as is her mum Betty, a lifelong member for over 50 years. They all  live together at their home in Attleborough.
